🔧 Role Overview – Civil Design Engineer
Are you an ambitious Civil Design Engineer passionate about shaping communities through modern engineering practices?
Join our civil engineering team and work on exciting land development, site infrastructure, and public works projects.
You'll be responsible for creating detailed designs for grading, erosion control, stormwater drainage systems, transportation layouts, utility networks, and more using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
📐 Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed site development plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Assist in the design of grading, stormwater management systems, wastewater lines, and domestic water networks
- Collaborate across teams including transportation engineers, surveyors, and land planners
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and permitting documentation
- Perform hydrologic/hydraulic calculations using tools like StormCAD, HydroCAD, and other drainage software
- Engage with clients to meet project goals and ensure deliverables exceed expectations
- Apply problem-solving skills to complex land development engineering challenges
- Support the drafting of civil engineering reports, project correspondence, and regulatory submittals
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- EIT Certification (or eligible to take FE exam within 6 months of hire)
- 1–4 years of experience in civil site design, land development engineering, or municipal infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of grading, drainage, and utility layout standards
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
