Civil Engineering Internship – Traffic & Site Design | Summer 2025 - is hiring Site/Civil Engineering and Traffic Engineering Interns for Summer 2025!
Whether your focus is traffic engineering internships, site design internships, or DOT permitting internships, this position is your
gateway to gaining hands-on industry experience in one of the top full-service engineering firms in the U.S.
🚧 About the Role:
As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside licensed professionals on active projects, contributing to:
- Traffic engineering analysis, including traffic impact studies, highway capacity analysis, and traffic signal design.
- Civil site design tasks, such as zoning research, concept planning, field surveying, and cost estimation.
- DOT permitting, drafting site plans in AutoCAD, data collection, and participating in real-world project development meetings.
You’ll be immersed in both design development and field inspection work,
enhancing your understanding of urban infrastructure, land development, and transportation systems.
🎓 Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Engineering Technology.
- Strong interest in transportation planning, site development, civil infrastructure, and traffic flow optimization.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, traffic modeling software, or highway design tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
- U.S. citizenship preferred; on-site presence required.
