Environmental Civil Project Engineer - Looking for a challenging and impactful opportunity in environmental engineering with a focus on civil project design, stormwater management, and remediation oversight?

We’re seeking a dedicated Environmental Civil Project Engineer to help solve complex environmental and water challenges through thoughtful engineering and design solutions.
📍 Location: Great Falls, Montana (Hybrid)
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
💵 Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
🎓 Required Education: Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering
🧪 Experience Level: 3–10 years in environmental or civil engineering
🚧 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee environmental remediation projects from investigation to construction.
- Conduct field sampling of groundwater, soil, and surface water to support site characterization.
- Prepare technical engineering design reports, regulatory submittals, and work plans.
- Manage and interpret field and lab data using ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other modeling tools.
- Ensure compliance with CERCLA regulations and OSHA HAZWOPER safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and project managers.
- Support business development and regulatory reporting efforts.
📌 Required Qualifications:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred)
- EIT Certification (or ability to obtain)
- 3–10 years of environmental consulting experience
- Familiarity with remediation technologies, stormwater infrastructure, and site development
- Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience with field oversight, construction safety, and contractor management
- Working knowledge of CERCLA and environmental compliance
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and ideally scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a strong plus
