Choate USA is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Help Desk Specialist to join our growing Information Technology support team.

This is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering exceptional technical support services, managing user accounts, and performing IT troubleshooting across various platforms and systems.

📍 Location: Texas (Statewide Travel May Be Required)

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user technical support via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, or live web chat
  • Resolve Level 1 and 2 support issues related to software, hardware, connectivity, and user accounts
  • Perform routine IT maintenance, including security patch updates, application support, and system checks
  • Manage user accounts: create logins, reset passwords, assign permissions, and administer Microsoft 365
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT engineers or external vendors following escalation protocols
  • Maintain clear and accurate incident tracking and service desk tickets in the helpdesk system
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and escalate major incidents or vulnerabilities to IT leadership
  • Travel within Texas to support branch offices and on-site users when required

🧠 Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT help desk support, technical assistance, or desktop administration
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, VPN access, and device security
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication, suitable for professional business environments
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (clean for at least 5 years)
  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
  • Veteran candidates are encouraged to apply
