Part-Time Foreign Language Instructor ( Teacher ) - Are you a passionate and experienced language teacher looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity?

Boston Language Hub is actively hiring Part-Time Foreign Language Instructors to teach in-person group and private classes in our Waltham, MA center, with potential for remote teaching via Zoom.

We’re currently seeking educators in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian, but welcome resumes for other languages for future consideration.

We are a top-rated language school in Massachusetts that delivers customized language education to adults and teens aged 15+ through immersive, culturally-rich lessons.

📍 Location: On-site (Waltham, MA) | Online options available
💼 Job Type: Part-Time Contract
💲 Pay Rate: $30/hour (non-negotiable)

📘 Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach in-person language classes (4–10 students) and private language lessons using provided textbooks and self-designed materials.
  • Conduct language level assessments to recommend student placement.
  • Maintain a consistent teaching schedule, with evening and weekend availability preferred.
  • Deliver engaging instruction that combines grammar, vocabulary, and cultural immersion.
  • Utilize technology for hybrid or online language instruction, when needed.
  • Foster positive student engagement and promote long-term language fluency.

✅ Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of language teaching experience, preferably in adult education.
  • Ability to create lesson plans independently and adapt to learner needs.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • Comfortable teaching on weeknights and/or weekends.
  • Experience with virtual language classes, Zoom, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication, enthusiasm for teaching, and attention to detail are essential.
