Technical Sales Representative – Commercial Construction | Remote - Tremco Construction Products Group, a recognized leader in sealants, waterproofing, and air barrier systems, is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support our Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing Division.

This remote sales opportunity is based in New York and offers a dynamic career path for professionals passionate about technical products, relationship-building, and driving growth in the construction industry.

About the Role

In this construction product sales representative role, you will oversee a designated territory, managing both new and existing accounts.

You will work closely with architects, contractors, developers, and distributors to promote and specify Tremco’s high-performance building envelope solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned revenue, margin, and product mix goals across your territory
  • Drive product specification and project development for commercial construction
  • Manage CRM data through Salesforce for customer engagement and forecasting
  • Deliver technical presentations and conduct product training sessions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute sales strategies and respond to market demands
  • Support architectural specification writing and contractor onboarding
  • Represent Tremco at trade shows, industry events, and site visits
  • Maintain full knowledge of product chemistries and installation requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 4–10 years of experience in technical sales or construction materials
  • Strong knowledge of sealants, waterproofing systems, and modular construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and able to manage a multi-state sales territory

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $85,000+, plus performance-based commission
