Our team is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our growing operations.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, and warehouse logistics, looking to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
As a Warehouse Selector, you will support multiple warehouse functions including order picking, loading and unloading shipments, receiving materials, and stocking inventory—all while operating certified material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- 📍 Location: Salem, OR
- 🕒 Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 💵 Pay Rate: $22.43/hour
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and stage outbound orders with a high degree of accuracy
- Scan and verify incoming shipments against Bills of Lading and maintain clear documentation
- Utilize warehouse inventory systems, RF scanners, and ERP software for real-time updates
- Load and unload trucks following safety standards and cleanliness guidelines
- Safely operate forklifts, order selectors, and reach trucks across warehouse zones
- Follow procedures for shrink reduction, quality control, and damage reporting
- Build pallets and crates for outgoing shipments using basic carpentry skills
- Assist in other areas including put-away, order packing, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned workstations and contribute to a safety-first warehouse culture
✅ Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in warehouse jobs or distribution center roles is a plus
- Must pass post-offer functional capacity test
- Ability to read and understand work orders, packaging labels, and safety instructions
- Basic math and reasoning abilities for measuring and verifying counts
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Must be comfortable lifting 40–55 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs
