📍 Location: On-site (U.S. Based)

💰 Salary: $83,200 – $124,800 annually

🚆 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the civil engineering design of railroad projects including track alignments, grading, drainage systems, and corridor development.
  • Use advanced tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRail Designer, and Power Rail Track to produce detailed construction documentation.
  • Coordinate across disciplines (signal, utilities, structures) to ensure fully integrated rail system engineering solutions.
  • Represent Zephyr Rail in client meetings, public agency consultations, and design review boards.
  • Mentor junior civil engineers and CAD designers, fostering a high-performance team culture.

🎓 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BScCE or equivalent).
  • PE License (Professional Engineer) or EIT Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in railway civil design or track engineering.
  • Strong expertise in rail track layout, horizontal/vertical geometry, and railroad grading plans.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Bentley’s OpenRail suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
